Violetta, Juan & Elaine Water Main Replacement Project

OE provided inspection services for the City of Hawaiian Gardens on over 3,200 ft. of Golden State water main replacement. The water main is owned and maintained by Golden State Water, and the main concern for the City involved traffic control, community coordination, and compaction methods and materials. The OE inspector was made available to coordinate with residents, check traffic control, BMP’s and verify that the methods and materials for compaction and structural section meet the city’s requirements. The inspector also made sure that the contractor did not have any illegal discharges when washing the roadway of sediment and all BMP’s were placed according to the City’s standards.
