Phase II Street Rehabilitation Project

OE provided design services on the 2012 Phase II Street Rehabilitation Project for the City of La Mirada. The project spanned over 12 residential and collector streets throughout the City. OE was responsible for the design of the pavement rehabilitation methodology. OE walked each individual street and identified the condition and made recommendations for localized repairs. The scope of work included laying 2,350 tons of asphalt, 500 LF of curb and gutter, 1,900 LF of sidewalk, curb ramps and 4,250 LF of cross gutter. In addition to the preparation of the PS&E, OE also coordinated pavement borings to identify the existing pavement section and also coordinated a design survey at localized cross gutters, and curb and gutter locations to ensure positive drainage on all new improvements.
