Majdi Ataya, PE

Majdi Ataya is a Registered Civil Engineer with over 30 years of solid and diversified work experience, utilizing strong technical and interpersonal capabilities. He obtained his BS in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Public Administration from California State University Long Beach.

Majdi started his professional career in 1981, working in the private sector for some of the most well-known engineering consulting firms in the country. Between 1989 and 2004, Majdi began the transition into the public sector as the Deputy Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of La Habra. Majdi possesses the perfect balance of private sector experience and public sector familiarity.

Majdi genuinely knows the inner workings of public agencies at the City, County, State, and Federal levels. As the President of Onward Engineering, Majdi takes on the role of Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager.
