PROJECT DETAILS & CONTACT INFORMATION
For streets where only one direction is closed at a time (split colors on the map), the other half of the street will remain open and accessible for two-way travel. Parking will be restricted on both sides of the street to accommodate two-way travel in the open lane. Please pay attention to flaggers who will be managing the two-way travel.
The next phase of the project is the application of slurry seal resurfacing. The slurry seal provides a protective coating for the streets and it is designed to seal and extend the life of the pavement. On the day the slurry seal is applied, the street will most likely be closed entirely to vehicles and pedestrians. Detours may be necessary. Several streets will be resurfaced each day, so your street may close as early as 7:30 am or as late as 1:30 pm. It takes approximately 4 hours for the slurry seal to dry for vehicle use, and about 2 hours for pedestrian use.
“NO Parking” signs will be posted within the work areas prior to roadway closures. Trash collection and mail delivery services may occur at different times of the day, but will not be interrupted. Emergency access will be provided at all times.
All American Asphalt, the City’s contractor, will make every effort to maximize access to properties whenever possible. All impacts and closures will be minimized to the greatest extent possible.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
