PROJECT DETAILS & CONTACT INFORMATION
Locations of pavement repairs will be painted in orange and pink paint in July.
Preliminary work consisting of drainage improvements, localized pavement repairs, and crack sealing, is expected to occur during August and September.
Roadway slurry seal application and re-striping in September and October.
The slurry seal provides a protective coating for the streets and it is designed to seal and extend the life of the pavement. On the day the slurry seal is applied, the street will most likely be closed entirely to vehicles and pedestrians. Detours may be necessary. Several streets will be resurfaced each day, so your street may close as early as 7:30 a.m. or as late as 1:30 p.m. It takes approximately 4 hours for the slurry seal to dry for vehicle use, and about 2 hours for pedestrian use.
“NO Parking” signs will be posted within the work areas prior to roadway closures. Trash collection and mail delivery services may occur at different times of the day, but will not be interrupted. Emergency access will be provided at all times.
Excel Paving, the City’s contractor, will make every effort to maximize access to properties whenever possible. All impacts and closures will be minimized to the greatest extent possible.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE & COOPERATION THROUGH THIS PROCESS OF REVITALIZING YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ROADS
