Husam received his Bachelor of Arts from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Public Administration and Political Science. He also received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Akron in Ohio. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over a decade of experience working in the MENA region.

Additionally, he has over 5 years of experience working locally. Positions he has held include Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Husam brings his knowledge of project business controls, budgeting and scheduling, and the ability to manage a diverse workforce to Onward Engineering. Husam is able to analyze and understand market trends and make intelligent decisions. He offers a broad base of practical business experience, as well as a clear understanding of international/cross cultural business. As the MENA Liaison for Onward Engineering, he is responsible for exploring and developing business opportunities in the MENA region.
